Delicate Dark combines representations of trauma from a wider sense but also expresses Naomi's own experiences from a very personal point of view. Flowers are often a symbol of beauty. However, this does not portray the aftermath of trauma or emotional pain. Through decayed flowers, a delicate and fragile theme arises which highlights feelings associated with suffering.
